Pay Rate: $23.39 / Hour

What You'll Do:
Provide customer service to students, faculty, staff, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities across an educational campus environment.
Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report observed conditions, hazards, and/or policy concerns to the appropriate contacts.
Conduct regular and random patrols of campus buildings, walkways, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and/or identify unusual conditions.
Monitor access points and activity throughout the location, assist with directions and general assistance, and document security-related incidents, maintenance concerns, and/or suspicious behavior.
Support campus operations during routine activities and special events by maintaining a visible presence, following post orders, and communicating with local site contacts and/or first responders when appropriate.
Minimum Requirements:
A guard card and/or license is preferred.
Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ years old for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
