The Central Atlantic Toyota Region is looking for a highly qualified and motivated

Service Training Specialist.

The

Service Training Specialist

(STS) is responsible for implementing the region's technical training classes and providing educational and technical support to the schools of the Toyota Technical Education Network (T‑TEN). This position maximizes customer loyalty by ensuring that dealers have staff fully trained to provide "fix‑it‑right‑the‑first‑time" service. The STS provides scheduling input to the Service Training Supervisor, technical support to district service & parts managers (DSPM) and field technical specialists (FTS), collects records of technical training, and monitors training and certification status for the region. Responsibilities also include maintenance of shop, training vehicles, technical equipment, and planning & implementation of the bi‑annual Quality Champions event at the regional level. This person has a liaison role with TMS on technical and training issues.

What you’ll be doing

Preparation for and delivery of Toyota technical training courses

Assistance with curriculum development

Thorough understanding of all training course content

Toyota training programs and policies

Educational and technical support to the schools of the Toyota Technical Education Network (T‑TEN)

Technical support to regional department personnel

Some overnight travel will be required

What you bring

Detailed knowledge of automotive technology required

Classroom instructor and classroom/lab skills

Thorough understanding of all training course content

Technical analysis, problem‑solving skills

Experience in automotive repair and instruction

Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook)

Bachelor’s Degree or extensive experience in a Technical Training capacity

Added bonus if you have

Bachelor’s Degree

ASE Master Technician certification and Advanced Engine Performance Specialist certification (in all 8 areas and L1)

Proficiency in Access

The annual base salary range for this position is $96,600.00 – $156,900.00. Employees (and their families) are covered by medical, dental, vision, and basic life insurance. Employees are able to enroll in our company’s 401(k) plan.
