Blue Rose Consulting Group, Inc. is urgently seeking a dedicated and empathetic Behavioral Health Specialist to serve onsite in federal facilities along the Southwest U.S. Border. The role involves providing trauma‑informed care to children in DHS custody within Customs and Border Protection processing facilities.

Your Mission and Core Responsibilities

Be the Primary Resource : Serve as the on‑site facility's go‑to behavioral health expert.

Proactive Well‑Being Checks : Conduct regular facility rounds to assess child well‑being and identify immediate risks.

Immediate Crisis Response : Provide real‑time crisis intervention and expert de‑escalation in challenging situations.

Trauma‑Informed Guidance : Offer vital guidance on emotional regulation and behavioral support tailored to the specific needs of children.

Interagency Collaboration : Work hand‑in‑hand with CBP, HHS ORR, NGOs, and medical providers to ensure seamless, coordinated care.

Impactful Decision‑Making : Play a key role in decisions concerning a child's medical, psychological, and developmental needs.

Leave a Legacy : Recommend improvements that promote safe, supportive, and truly child‑centered care environments.

Schedule & Shift Details
This is a full‑time position with a predictable rotating schedule.

a 4‑on / 3‑off and 3‑on / 4‑off rotation.

12‑hour shifts: Day Shift (8:00 AM – 8:00 PM) or Night Shift (8:00 PM – 8:00 AM).

Rotating weekends to support work‑life balance.

Requirements

Master’s or Doctoral degree in a behavioral health field.

An active, unrestricted license in one of the following:

LCSW/LICSW ,

LMFT ,

LPC , or

LP .

A minimum of 2 years of post‑licensure experience, preferably in child development, trauma‑informed care, or clinical evaluations.

Bilingual in Spanish/English (ILR 3/5 or higher).

A strong, calm presence and comfort working in dynamic, high‑stakes environments.
