In-patient Unit Licensed Practical Nurse

What you’ll do as a Licensed Practical Nurse LPN
As a Home Health LPN, a vital part of the patient's care team is provided by the employee, offering skilled nursing care and support. This includes tasks such as:

Administering medications and treatments

Assisting with wound care and personal care

Educating patients and families

Maintaining medical records

Collaborating with other healthcare professionals. Also, provide emotional support and companionship, building genuine connections with patients.

Who you are as a Licensed Practical Nurse LPN

Strong clinical skills and knowledge of end-of-life care principles.

Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.

Compassion, empathy, and emotional resilience to provide comfort and support during end-of-life situations.

Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.

About Concordia Hospice of Washington
The roots of our organization can be traced back to Rev. Dr. J. E. Victor Carlson, who helped create Hospice Care Inc. in Greene County in the late 1970s to serve families dealing with end-of-life illnesses. In 1996, the program was combined with The Washington Hospital, opening opportunities for inpatient care and other new services. On July 1, 2016, Concordia Community Support Services and Washington Health System (previously The Washington Hospital) partnered to form the organization we are today.
