Resident Care Manager (RCM)
Windsor Health and Rehabilitation Center is currently looking for a Resident Care Manager (RCM) to oversee the proper administration of total care to our residents. The RCM will provide general nursing care to residents and oversee the work of the Licensed Nurses and CNAs in our facility.
Job Summary
Responsible for ensuring quality nursing care and compliance with regulations across the facility.
Essential Functions
Obtains and administers prescribed medications and treatments in accordance with approved nursing techniques.
Observes residents, records significant conditions and reactions, and notifies supervisor, family (responsible party), and physician of any changes in condition or adverse reactions.
Takes vital signs to detect deviations from normal and assess resident condition.
Administers appropriate disciplinary action for nursing staff non‑compliance with state and federal regulations and Center policies.
Modifies resident care plan, care directives, Activities of Daily Living (ADL), and aide flow sheets in conjunction with resident changes in condition.
Education, Licensure, and Experience
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
Current LPN or RN licensure in the state of employment.
Demonstrated knowledge of the nursing process, particularly as it relates to geriatric residents, long‑term care, and rehabilitation.
