The general pay scale for this position at MOH is $101,799.68 - $156,614.89 per year. The actual hiring rate is dependent on many factors, including but not limited to prior work experience, education, job/position responsibilities, location, work performance, etc.

Under supervision or in collaboration with practice physicians, involved in the care of individuals, families and patient groups who are dealing with cancer or other related diagnosis. This care may be in clinic or virtually, via telemedicine. Responsibilities may include duties related to prevention, screening, patient care, management, and research. May serve as direct caregiver, health care consultant, patient educator, administrator, or researcher. Ensures compliance with OSHA and other regulatory standards and requirements. Supports and adheres to the US Oncology Compliance Program, to include the Code of Ethics and Business Standards.

Responsibilities

Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care for patients.

Initiate and document appropriate interventions; evaluate and record patient/family response and prescribe therapies as indicated.

Perform procedures after appropriate training.

Assess patient/family needs and provide education.

Promote wellness and recommend community resources to meet patient and family needs.

Incorporate developing knowledge of evidence-based research into clinical practice.

Develop knowledge of reimbursement procedures and documentation requirements.

Complete patient charge capture and medical record documentation in a timely fashion.

May provide case management for patients and their families, given limited knowledge of community resources.

Promote/provide staff education.

Round at affiliated hospitals and weekend or after‑hour calls.

Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:

Nurse Practitioner

— Masters of Science in Nursing (MSN) from an accredited nursing school and successful completion of a Nurse Practitioner program. Entry‑level; 0‑3 years post‑MSN experience preferred. RN state licensure, current registration with the State Board of Nursing in the practicing state. Current state licensure as a Nurse Practitioner. Current basic life support (BLS)/CPR certification required.

Physician Assistant

— Successful completion of an accredited Physician Assistant program and current NCCPA certification. Entry‑level; 0‑3 years of experience as a practicing Physician Assistant preferred. Current state license as a Physician Assistant in the practicing state. Current basic life support (BLS)/CPR certification required.

Clinical Nurse Specialist

— Masters of Science in Nursing (MSN) from an accredited nursing school and successful completion of a Clinical Nurse Specialist program. Entry‑level; 0‑3 years post‑MSN experience preferred. RN state licensure, current registration with the State Board of Nursing in the practicing state. Current state licensure as a Clinical Nurse Specialist. Current basic life support (BLS)/CPR certification required.
