We are hiring dedicated, compassionate CNAs to provide resident-focused, quality care for elder Franciscan sisters in a convent home environment in Chicago (West Peterson Ave, 60659, near neighborhoods of Lincolnwood and North Park)
Casual/per diem scheduled position. This casual position operates on a biweekly schedule (Sunday–Saturday) pay period working every Sunday (6:00 AM – 2:30 PM). Additional shifts available when needed.

The hourly pay rate for this position is $16.29 - $24.17 for Certified Nurse Aides (CNAs). Wage will be determined based on factors such as CNA certification, the candidate's relevant work experience/qualifications, and internal equity.

Responsibilities:
Our CNAs provides direct care to elder Franciscan sisters including assistance with personal hygiene, dressing, dining, transporting, and restorative care. Our Nurse aides are responsible for documenting care for our sisters as required and communicating with residents, family members, management, and staff to ensure resident quality care. This position also assists and collaborates with the nursing staff with duties related to the ongoing needs of the residents according to established standards.

We believe care partners in all departments should be able to engage in quality interpersonal experiences with sisters and engage in meaningful interactions during the course of every day. Education and Experience:
High school graduate or equivalent required.
Current or lapsed Certified Nurse Aide certification on file with the state in which the health services are located is a PLUS but not required.
Long-term resident care or home care experience is preferred but not required.
