Director, TPM - Card Tech
We’re looking for a Director of Technical Program Management (TPM) in Capital One’s Card Tech+ organization to manage integration with Discover and support technical testing scoping and execution, foundational to our Card integration.

Team
As part of the Card Tech+ organization, you will help expand the TPM discipline within the team and contribute to growing the reach and influence of the TPM at Capital One.

Responsibilities

Manage integration with Discover, including technical testing scoping and execution.

Lead technical programs and support complex integrations.

Grow and develop a team of TPMs, building foundations for the TPM practice.

Collaborate across product, engineering, design, and data science teams.

Identify and mitigate technical risks throughout the delivery lifecycle.

Simplify complex technical issues and drive well‑educated decisions.

Ensure strong focus on execution, follow‑through, accountability, and results.

Basic Qualifications

Bachelor's degree.

At least 7 years of experience managing technical programs.

Preferred Qualifications

7+ years designing and building data‑intensive solutions using distributed computing.

3+ years building distributed systems and highly available services on cloud platforms, preferably AWS.

3+ years building highly scalable mobile products and platforms.

3+ years experience with Agile delivery.

3+ years delivering large, complex programs with business or technical ownership, collaborating with cross‑functional teams, securing commitments, and unblocking teams.

Experience building systems and solutions within a highly regulated environment.

Bachelor's or Master's degree in a technical field such as Computer Science or Software Engineering.
