Occupational Therapist (OT) – Travel Contract

Pay:

$2,400-2,600 per week

Contract Length:

13 weeks (extension possible)

Schedule:

Day shifts | 36–40 hours per week

We’re looking for a motivated and compassionate Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our Skilled Nursing Facility in Auburn, CA. Responsibilities

Assess and treat SNF residents to improve functional independence.

Develop individualized OT treatment plans aligned with care goals.

Document therapy progress and adjust plans based on measurable outcomes.

Monitor and report productivity and outcome metrics for quarterly targets.

Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to coordinate patient care.

Utilize evidence-based practices to drive improved patient outcomes.

Maintain compliance with regulatory standards and facility policies.

Educate residents and families on home programs and safety.

Identify and address potential barriers to recovery and participation.

Engage in ongoing professional development to advance OT skills.

Lead or participate in care conferences to drive patient‑centered planning.

Manage time efficiently to ensure on‑site responsibilities meet targets.

Experience/Qualifications

Current OT license in the state of employment with SNF experience.

Experience in skilled nursing: assessments, treatment planning, and progress documentation.

Ability to develop and adjust individualized OT treatment plans with measurable outcomes.

Proficiency in documenting progress and productivity metrics for quarterly targets.

Strong collaboration with interdisciplinary team and participation in care conferences.

Knowledge of regulatory standards and facility policies; compliance mindset.

Evidence-based practice adoption and ongoing professional development.

Competence in educating residents and families on home programs and safety.

Effective time management to balance on‑site duties and targets.
