Production Associate – Lites
Day Shift: 7:30am‑4:00pm Monday‑Friday, Starting Wage: $22/HR. Occasional overtime and weekend shifts.
We are looking for Production Associates to join our team at Midland Garage Door.
Summary
The primary function of this position is to cut and install the necessary components for window assembly.
Essential Duties
Read orders and understand all necessary steps to ensure quality assurance guidelines are followed.
Perform safe operating procedures while operating the router during cutting.
Safely lift sections on/off the cutting conveyor and installation conveyor.
Precisely line up the template on the punch to ensure correct cuts.
Safely remove cut‑out sections and place them in the cut‑out bin.
Read and follow steps required to install frames, inserts, backs, and screws.
Operate a battery‑powered drill for several hours and determine proper torque to seal frames.
Know parts/pieces required for different lite styles and sizes.
Marginal Duties
Assist in Production and Shipping areas as requested.
Other duties assigned by Management.

High level of attention to detail and organization.
Excellent time management skills.
Mechanical aptitude.
Ability to read a tape measure.

Basic math skills.
Sound judgment, decision making, and problem‑solving skills.
Effective communication in English, orally and written.
Prompt and reliable attendance.
