Medical Driver – Milwaukee, WI
Full Time | $16.50 per hour
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 05:30 AM – 01:30 PM (heavy supply route)
Responsibilities
Operate company‑owned vehicle to transport lab specimens, medical records, pharmaceuticals, x‑rays, hospital supplies and related materials.
Use hand‑held scanning device to accurately track items throughout the transportation cycle.
Follow operating policies, procedures and service schedules.
Present a professional image to clients and the public.
Load and unload equipment, and perform pre/post‑trip vehicle inspections.
Maintain a clean, neat and orderly vehicle.
Execute safe and courteous driving behavior under varying weather conditions.
Adapt to routing changes and perform all duties on any assigned route.
Cultivate teamwork, cooperation and adaptability with teammates and clients.
Support a collaborative MedSpeed team culture.
Qualifications
Strong customer‑service and interpersonal skills.
Age 19 or older with a valid driver’s license for at least 3 years.
Dependable and reliable with an excellent driving history.
Experience with technology and ability to follow procedures closely.
Ability to determine efficient routing between multiple points.
Pass initial and random drug & alcohol screening.
Operate dash‑camera equipped company vehicles. Knowledge of video capture compliance.
Drive non‑commercial vehicle throughout the shift on various roads and in different weather.
Proof of COVID‑19 vaccination, if required by local mandates.
Regularly lift and carry items up to 50 pounds; lift items off storage racks; walk and stand for extended periods.
Successfully pass background check, drug screening, and motor‑vehicle record review.
