Overview
Responsible for preparing, validating and analyzing financial information; preparing journal entries; maintaining fixed asset records; reconciling fixed asset and other general ledger account balances on a monthly basis; work closely with other departments to assist with fixed asset and other financial issues.
What you will be doing:
Prepare fixed asset account reconciliations, investigating and clearing any reconciling items
Review fixed asset project and purchase requests for proper accounting treatment and compliance with System's capital policy.
Work closely with departments in recognizing asset retirements timely
Provide support for internal and external audits – Assist in footnote preparation for quarterly/annual financial statements.
Perform other responsibilities or assignments as required.
What you must have:
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. (Master’s Degree preferred)
3 to 5 years in Accounting, Finance, or related field. Candidate will be working on site.
