About Manatee Memorial Hospital (MMH): Manatee Memorial Hospital® in Bradenton, Florida, has served the citizens of Manatee, Sarasota and surrounding counties for over 70 years and has earned The Joint Commission’s Gold Seal of Approval. The 295‑bed hospital with over 800 physicians, residents and allied health professionals offers advanced healthcare services in a caring and compassionate environment. Services include cardiac care, emergency care, surgery services—including robotic‑assisted surgery with the da Vinci® Surgical System, weight‑loss program, orthopedic services, outpatient and inpatient radiology, rehabilitation, respiratory care, sleep, oncology, wound care, women’s and children’s services, Level II Neonatal Intensive Care Unit for babies with special needs and the only Pediatric Center hospital‑based outpatient multidisciplinary pediatric therapy center in Manatee County.
The Driver is responsible for operating hospital transport vehicles to safely transport discharged patients and authorized passengers between hospital facilities, medical office buildings, and approved destinations such as home, skilled nursing facilities, and rehabilitation centers. This role ensures safe vehicle operation, accurate documentation, and timely transport services in support of patient discharge and hospital operations. Demonstrates Service Excellence at all times. Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
High School Diploma/GED required
State of Florida Driver’s License required
Current BLS through American Heart Association preferred
