Job position description
Join our team and help create a warm, welcoming dining experience for our residents and guests. The Lead Dietary Aide is responsible for delivering excellent customer service through accurate order taking, meal service, dining room setup and sanitation, and maintaining a clean and well-organized kitchen and dining environment.
Essential Responsibilities
Provide friendly, attentive, and respectful service to residents, guests, and coworkers.
Take and accurately record food and beverage orders; deliver meals in a timely and professional manner.
Become knowledgeable of menus and daily specials, including ingredients and preparation methods, to answer questions and make recommendations.
Observe and document special dietary needs and requests.
Monitor and restock dining room supplies such as utensils, napkins, condiments, beverages, and service items.
Set up, clear, clean, and reset tables before, during, and after meal service.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen and service areas, including washing and storing dishes, pots, pans, and utensils.
Assist with preparing and packaging to-go meals and delivering meals to locations outside the building as assigned.
Support team members as needed to ensure smooth and efficient dining operations.
Assist with training new servers on standard operating procedures, sanitation practices, safety expectations, and dining room standards.
Report and help resolve customer concerns promptly and professionally.
