Join us to bring the gift of health to life.**This role is not available for any form of immigration sponsorship or support, including completion of the Form I-983 training plan required for STEM OPT.****Night Shift 6**The **Coating Operator** is responsible for operating automatic equipment that mixes coating solutions and coats vitamin products, ensuring finished products comply with production standards and tolerances.**Responsibilities:*** Identifies and locates coating ingredients, transports to mixer, mixes in accordance with specific instructions to prepare solution for a particular product; subdivides and transfer solution to coating pans.* Identifies and locates in-process tablets for coating; subdivides and loads tablets into the coating machine.* Calibrates controls on equipment to ensure proper volume, atomization, pan speed, and temperatures for each type of product; monitors the coating process operation constantly to ensure product is coated in accordance with company standards.* Apply Manufacturing Execution System (MES) to charge and yield products.* Unloads, subdivides coated tablets; and weighs/reconciles finished product to within 97%-101% of loaded product.* Completes and maintains specific and accurate documentation on batch records, labels and logs.* Disassembles equipment, cleans; reassembles and prepares for next batch of coating; cleans other areas of room to ensure a sanitary coating operation.* Performs all duties in compliance with safety rules, standard operating procedures and good manufacturing practices.* Performs other related duties as assigned.**Minimum Qualifications:****Education:**Requires a high school diploma/GED Completion or 5 years or work equivalency.**Certification:**Forklift certification within six months of attaining position.**Experience:**Requires 3 months of manufacturing experience.

Prior experience as a production machine operator or utility worker is preferred.

A complete working knowledge of the coating operation from preparation of coating solutions to operating coating equipment is preferred.**Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:**Requires:* Manual dexterity to manipulate controls and adjust equipment.* English communication skills to maintain routine written logs and records.

Communicate with supervisors and others and read batch records, operating instructions, and safety regulations.**Physical Requirements:**Stand/walk for the full work shift.

Perform repetitive job duties for long periods of time.

Push/pull/lift/carry containers of product regularly throughout shift.

Safely operate a lift truck, pallet jack and forklift, in congested areas.**Environment:**Constant exposure to noise levels loud enough to require employees wear hearing protection.

Warm temperature levels, fumes, vibration, dust, etc., sufficient to cause minor discomfort.

The employee must wear protective eye wear, dust mask, safety shoes, gloves and back support.**Safety:**The incumbent must be able to perform this job safely in accordance with standard operating procedures and good manufacturing practices, without endangering the health or safety of self or others.**Supervisory Responsibility:**None.**OUR OFFER**

It is not typical for an individual to be hired above the midpoint of the range for their role and compensation decisions depend on the facts and circumstances of each case.
