
Securities Clearing Vice President

Natixis has a robust global trading business. This role focuses on supporting Repo and Securities Lending activities, encompassing both bilateral and tri‑party platforms. The successful candidate will be responsible for facilitating the settlement of US securities trades that originate and settle in Natixis Paris clearing accounts.
Key Responsibilities will include:
Facilitating transaction settlements and managing collateral movements with the Natixis Paris Clearing teams during New York morning hours.
Following up on outstanding issues after the Paris working day concludes, through to the close of US Securities Markets (DTCC-Fed).
Engaging in daily interactions with external clients and our Front Office trading teams to ensure all parties are informed of the status of uncompleted transactions or open exposures.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Manage Repo/Securities Lending transaction settlements: This includes confirming settlements and pair‑offs with counterparties, researching and resolving shortfalls in deliveries, and liaising with front office partners when their actions are required.
Maintain clear communication: Keep our Front Office trading partners and customer excellence support teams updated on the status and trends of problematic transaction settlements and flows.
Produce comprehensive reporting: Generate daily status reports and monthly summaries detailing failed transaction settlements and their root causes.
Drive process improvement: Identify workflow inefficiencies and propose potential solutions.
Develop and maintain operating procedures: Create and update operating procedures for the functions covered. Provide cross‑training to US‑based teammates to ensure consistent support in your absence.
Foster collaboration: Provide cross‑functional support with other members of the US Clearing team.
Support inquiry resolution: Assist in responding to customer inquiries and audit requests.
Qualifications:
5+ years of experience in listed clearing operations.
Strong understanding of US Central Counterparties (CCPs) such as DTC/NSCC/OCC.
Comprehensive knowledge of the securities financing business (Securities Based Lending and Repo) and Delta One trading strategies.
Familiarity with relevant applications, including BONY BDC, Access Edge, Nexen, and DTC.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
Experience with Power BI, DuCo, Alteryx, or similar data analysis and workflow automation tools, with a strong willingness to learn new technologies.
Exceptional time‑management skills, with a proven ability to prioritize tasks effectively based on risk and urgency.
Meticulous attention to detail and the ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment.
Effective written and verbal communication skills, enabling clear and concise interaction with diverse stakeholders.
A collaborative spirit, with a demonstrated ability to work effectively as part of a team.
The salary range for this position will be between $125,000 - $150,000. Natixis is required by law to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. Actual base salary will vary and will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant experience, education, skills set, applicable licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. Base salary is only one component of our total rewards package. Natixis also offers a generous benefits package, and you may be eligible for a discretionary incentive award depending on company and individual performance.
