We are hosting a Lockheed Martin Space in‑person hiring event in mid‑June, in the King of Prussia, PA area. This event will be by invitation only and the exact date and location will be disclosed later. Software Engineering roles require a clearance to start. Please apply to be considered.

Position
Lockheed Martin Space is seeking full‑time Software Engineers. In this role, you will support the software engineering lifecycle following the program Software Development Plan (SDP), including requirements analysis, object‑oriented analysis & design, code & unit test, integration, and support to formal test/delivery.

Basic Qualifications

Experienced in software development using programming and scripting languages such as C++, Java, JavaScript, C#, Python, etc.

Experience working in an Agile development environment, including tools such as Jira and Confluence.

US citizenship is required to obtain a government security clearance.

Active Top Secret clearance with the ability to obtain and maintain SCI clearances.

Active/Final Secret Clearance or above to start.

Desired Skills

Experience in application containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes, Helm) in a cloud environment (AWS/Azure/Openstack/Openshift).

Experience with frameworks such as .NET Core, Angular, etc.

Experience with GitLab CI/CD – Deployment pipelines, automated build, and/or configuration tools.

Experience with databases (PostgreSQL & Redis).

Strong knowledge of modern technology frameworks, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), microservices, APIs, DevOps, and data architecture.

Experienced with Horizon software application providing command and control services for satellites, antennas, and ground hardware assets.

Experience with modern engineering practices such as Cross‑Functional Agile teams and Capability‑based planning.

Active Top Secret clearance.

Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline, such as Computer Science, Software Engineering, or other engineering disciplines, or equivalent experience.

Security Clearance & Citizenship
US citizenship is required to obtain a government security clearance. Active Top Secret clearance with the ability to obtain and maintain SCI clearances. Active/Final Secret Clearance or above to start.

Job Details

Onsite full‑time at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.

Work schedule: 9x80, every other Friday off.

Relocation available: possible.

Shift: First.

Experience level: Experienced Professional.
