Overview
The I&I Biosimilars Marketing Director is the P&L owner for the immunology portfolio within Pfizer’s US Commercial Biosimilars Portfolio. The role reports to the US Commercial Biosimilars Portfolio Lead and partners with Global Hospital & Biosimilars, US Market Access, and Pfizer Global Supply.

Responsibilities

Identify, develop, and lead execution of branded strategies and tactics to maintain portfolio leadership in the biosimilars market.

Collaborate with customer‑facing teams to pursue market opportunities and deliver operational commitments.

Work closely with value marketing and pricing leads to execute “cost & coverage” strategies with payers and providers.

Collaborate with the Biosimilars Portfolio team to build financial forecasts, including Operating Plan and subsequent LE forecasts.

Coordinate and align biosimilar‑related work across cross‑functional marketing colleagues, agencies, and stakeholders to ensure strategic alignment and execution.

Explore differentiation opportunities to create sustainable value for customers.

Assess strategic levers for biosimilars across all stakeholders (HCP, patient, payer/GPO, key accounts, advocacy).

Develop creative and strategic insights about customer needs through collaboration with medical, market analytics, and sales colleagues and directly with customers; translate insights into commercial output and key initiatives.

Work with analytics colleagues to understand performance trends, identify opportunities, and monitor key metrics to evaluate portfolio initiatives.

Primary liaison to PGS and Trade on all activities related to Sales & Operations Planning, including forecasting and supply continuity.

Develop recommendations for management and internal stakeholders on brand priorities, opportunities, and threats; support development of Tactical Plans and Operating Plans.

Collaborate closely with customer‑facing teams, training, RC and others to develop and deliver sales training.

Manage OPEX budget up to $5M+.

Minimum Requirements

Bachelor’s degree with at least 8 years of experience; or Master’s degree with at least 7 years of experience; or PhD with 5+ years of experience.

Strong marketing experience and knowledge of the pharmaceutical marketplace.

Experience working on buy‑and‑bill products, preferably biosimilars.

Prior experience with business‑to‑business transactions, preferably with GPOs and institutional customers.

Experience developing “cost and coverage” messaging for HCPs.

Travel and Work Schedule
Travel may be required up to 20% of the time.

Work location assignment: Hybrid.

Compensation and Benefits
The annual base salary ranges from $176,600.00 to $294,300.00. The position is eligible for participation in Pfizer’s Global Performance Plan with a bonus target of 20% of the base salary and participation in the share‑based long‑term incentive program. Benefits include a 401(k) plan with Pfizer matching contributions, additional retirement contributions, paid vacation, holiday and personal days, paid caregiver/parental and medical leave, and comprehensive medical, prescription drug, dental, and vision coverage. The salary range does not apply to Tampa, FL or locations outside the United States.
