Protestant Worship Music Director

Key Responsibilities

Lead and direct weekly rehearsals and worship services, including special events (e.g., holidays, memorials, funerals)

Provide vocal leadership and guide the congregation in worship

Select and arrange music in coordination with the Chaplain

Deliver opening remarks and prayers aligned with Protestant traditions

Prepare and provide music scores, arrangements, and audio/visual lyrics

Qualifications
Education & Experience

Minimum of 4 years of college-level education in music

or

equivalent experience

At least 4 years of experience leading worship teams or bands in a church setting

Skills & Abilities

Strong vocal ability and experience leading congregational worship

Proficiency in sight-reading, arranging, and performing music

Ability to lead a contemporary Protestant praise team

Strong organizational and leadership skills

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
