We are adding another veterinarian to our two‑doctor team. Our practice is predominantly small animal, with occasional pocket pets, exotic animals, and feathered friends. Our current doctors cover a wide range of interests, from preventive care to emergencies, complex surgery, internal medicine, and complicated procedures. We welcome DVMs at any experience level and provide individualized mentorship to new graduates.
Essential Responsibilities
Examine and treat companion animals to detect and determine the nature of disease or injuries.
Operate diagnostic equipment, collect diagnostic samples, and interpret results.
Advise pet owners on preventive care and treatment options.
Perform surgery and prescribe medication as needed.
Provide counsel regarding pet end‑of‑life care.
Maintain patients' medical records.
Ensure compliance with veterinary ethics and relevant statutes, policies, and procedures.
Requirements / Qualifications
DVM or VMD degree from an accredited AVMA institution.
Appropriate state licensure.
Eligibility to obtain DEA/BNDD.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Professional and courteous presentation consistently with staff and clients.
Ability to lift patients and carry equipment up to 25 pounds; with assistance for heavier loads.
