About the Hospital
Pilchuck Veterinary Hospital is a progressive, multi-species practice located in Snohomish, Washington, providing high-quality, dedicated care for every patient. The hospital focuses 85% on equine care (preventive and geriatric) and 15% on small ruminants and camelids, with farm calls, haul-in appointments, and ambulatorily covering emergencies on a shared rotation basis.

About You
You’ll get to know the family and care for the horse year after year. From delivering reliable care, to preventative visits, to being the first one they call when something just feels wrong. The ideal candidate would be ambitious in all aspects of equine medicine and willing to establish clientele in the competitive equine market. We require a professional, dedicated candidate who is dependable, has exceptional time management and communication skills, plays well with others, and has a positive attitude.

Duties

Approximately 85% of your time will be dedicated to equine medicine, focusing on preventive and geriatric care.

Approximately 15% of your time will be devoted to small ruminants and camelids.

Work will include farm calls, haul-in facility appointments, and ambulatorily covering emergencies on a shared rotation basis.

Experience & Required Skills

Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD) or equivalent degree.

State Veterinary Board license in good standing for the state where you will be hired.

Active DEA license or eligibility for DEA licensure.

Compensation is negotiable based on credentials and experience. The annual PROSAL full-time range starts at $100,000 per year.
