Jackson HealthPros is seeking a travel Cardiac Sonographer for a travel job in Northampton, Massachusetts. Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Cardiac Sonographer Discipline: Allied Health Professional Start Date: 05/17/2026 Duration: 18 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 8 hours Employment Type: Travel Join our team as an Echo Ultrasound Tech / Cardiac Sonographer / Echo Technologist and operate and maintain ultrasound equipment, prepare patients for echocardiogram procedures, and produce detailed cardiac images for interpretation by clinical teams. Minimum Requirements: Associate's degree in radiology or equivalent certification required. RDCS (Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer) required. Certification from ARDMS or CCI acceptable if equivalent to RDCS. Current American Heart Association or American Red Cross BLS certification required. Minimum of 5 years of experience in echocardiography required; must be an experienced sonographer able to work independently. Proficiency with transthoracic (TTE), transesophageal (TEE), and stress echocardiography required. Experience performing bubble studies and administering Lumason preferred. Experience with Philips cardiac ultrasound systems preferred. Experience with Epic electronic health record is a plus. IV start capability is preferred. Assignment Details Facility type: Hospital. Shift name: Days. Shift details: Days 07:00–15:30. Responsibilities include M-Mode, 2-D, color, Doppler imaging, exercise testing, and TEE. Reports to Supervisor Cardiac Sonographer and follows departmental policies and procedures. Location Highlights Northampton, MA offers a mix of cultural and outdoor options within short drives.
