We’re looking for a skilled, efficient, and mission-driven Surgical Veterinarian to lead and grow our High-Quality, High-Volume Spay/Neuter (HQHVSN) program. This is your chance to combine surgical excellence with purpose—reducing pet over‑population, increasing access to care, and improving community welfare at scale.

What You’ll Do
Perform high-volume spay
euter surgeries on canine and feline patients (averaging about 30‑40 per day)
Perform general surgery (e.g., enucleation, pyometra, mass removal, cherry eye repair, cystotomy, gastronomy, enterotomy, entropion, gastropexy, etc.)
Maintain exceptional standards of care, safety, and efficiency
Oversee anesthesia and perioperative protocols
Mentor and collaborate with veterinary staff and technicians
Contribute to program growth and community outreach

Who You Are
DVM or equivalent, licensed (or eligible) in Ohio
Confident in surgery—or eager to become highly proficient in HQHVSN techniques. Paid training in North Carolina with the ASPCA HQHVSN program will be required for candidates who have not already completed.
