Minimum Training and Education
Associate degree in nursing. Bachelor’s degree preferred. At least one year of experience as a Registered Nurse.
Required Licensure, Certifications, Registrations
Licensure as a registered nurse by the South Carolina Board of Nursing or a compact state.
Basic Life Support (BLS)
Required. Certification from an American Heart Association (AHA) BLS for Healthcare Providers or an American Red Cross CPR/AED for Professional Rescuer and Healthcare Provider.
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
Required.
