Job Summary
The Roh Lab at Massachusetts General Hospital’s Cardiovascular Research Center is recruiting a post-doctoral fellow to conduct cell- and animal-based experimental studies on the intersection of placental senescence, obesity, and cardiovascular disease. The fellow will work with murine models and perform cardiovascular, renal, and metabolic phenotyping, senescence biology, advanced molecular biology techniques, and multi-omics. Collaboration with the American Heart Association Strategically Focused Research Network (SFRN) Center and its clinical and population science teams is essential.

This position does not involve patient care.

Qualifications

PhD in a basic science discipline required.

Strong foundation in molecular biology, mouse models, multi-omics, and advanced molecular techniques.

Interest in women’s cardiovascular health and aging biology.

Responsibilities

Conduct cell- and animal-based experimental studies investigating placental senescence, obesity, and cardiovascular disease.

Utilize murine models and conduct cardiovascular, renal, and metabolic phenotyping.

Apply expertise in senescence biology and advanced molecular biology techniques.

Perform multi-omics analyses.

Collaborate with the AHA SFRN Center team, clinical and population science teams, and investigators across the national network.
