Baylor Scott & White Memorial Hospital in Temple, TX is seeking a full‑time Registered Nurse to join our Progressive Care Unit focusing on Renal Transplant, Urology, Peritoneal Dialysis, Pulmonary HTN, and related specialty care.
Schedule:
Full Time – 36 hours per week, days and nights available.
Unit Summary
STC 3 is a 35‑bed monitored unit caring for a diverse population ranging from young adults to geriatrics, including complex urology, pulmonary hypertension, kidney and pancreas transplant, peritoneal dialysis, and radioactive therapy patients. It is the only unit in our hospital performing peritoneal dialysis and the only floor equipped with lead‑lined rooms for radioactive therapies.
What You’ll Do
Manage peritoneal dialysis
Perform epidural procedures
Provide continuous bladder irrigation
Care for nephrostomy and urostomy
Insert and manage complex urinary catheters, including suprapubic catheters
Receive training in ultrasound‑guided IV insertion

Requirements
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred; Associate degree in Nursing (ADN) acceptable
Active RN license
Minimum of six months RN experience
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 30 days of hire
Graduate of an accredited nursing program
