Position Overview
We are searching for a fellowship-trained glaucoma specialist to join our Central Iowa staff in the Des Moines clinic. The practice has a high patient load and expects the successful candidate to perform approximately 1,100 cataract surgeries annually and manage glaucoma cases, while strengthening established referral relationships.
Responsibilities
Perform cataract surgeries (around 1,100 cases per year).
Manage glaucoma patients and surgical cases.
Strengthen and maintain referral relationships.
Collaborate with a skilled clinical support staff to focus on patient care.
Qualifications
Fellowship trained in glaucoma.
Strong surgical interest and skills.
Eligible for unrestricted medical license in Iowa.
Demonstrated ability to achieve goals through hard work and quality decision making.
Location
West Des Moines, Des Moines metro area, access to trails, schools, housing, and airport.
