Join Our Team as an Intern
Webber, an industry leader in construction and infrastructure, is seeking a dynamic intern to join our team in a 12‑week internship program. The internship provides hands‑on support to various roles within Webber, with focus areas across Safety, Survey/Estimating, Project Supervision, and Field Engineering. We offer opportunities in Heavy Civil, Waterworks, Infrastructure Management, and Energy divisions.

Responsibilities

Gain understanding of Job Hazard Analysis (JHA) and Hazard Safety Observations (HSO).

Apply and understand personal protective equipment (PPE) for jobsite activities.

Observe and prevent safety incidents.

Conduct jobsite audits.

Learn how to interpret plans and set layouts.

Survey quantities and practice accurate surveying.

Assess man‑hour time and material requirements for production.

Communicate and delegate work plans to field crews.

Qualifications

Currently enrolled in a Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Construction Science/Management, or related 4‑year degree program.

Good verbal and written communication skills in English.

Moderate to high level computer skills in MS Word, MS Excel, and MS Outlook.

Manual dexterity for handling jobsite tools.

Understanding of construction math concepts.

Ability to perform moderate to high physical activity in a field‑based construction environment.
