The Electrician Helper supports licensed electricians with the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems. This role assists with preparing tools and materials, performing basic electrical tasks, and maintaining a safe and organized worksite. The ideal candidate is dependable, safety‑focused, and eager to learn the electrical trade while gaining hands‑on experience.

This position will report to our office location in Holt, FL.
The Essential Duties and Responsibilities are intended to present a descriptive list of the range of duties, but not all duties performed for this position. Other duties may be assigned.
Assist licensed electricians with the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical wiring, control systems, and lighting systems.
Support electricians by preparing materials, tools, and work areas prior to and during electrical projects.
Help read and interpret blueprints, electrical schematics, and diagrams under supervision.
Perform basic electrical tasks such as pulling wire, mounting boxes, and installing fixtures as directed.
Assist with general electrical maintenance and repairs.
Help inspect electrical components such as transformers, circuit breakers, and panels under supervision.
Use basic testing devices to assist in troubleshooting electrical issues.
Assist in repairing or replacing electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures.
Follow the National Electrical Code (NEC) and all state and local building regulations.
Maintain a clean and safe work environment and follow all safety procedures.
Minimum Qualifications:
To perform this position successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The qualifications listed are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
Basic knowledge of electrical systems, tools, and safety practices.
Prior experience as an electrician helper, apprentice, or related construction experience preferred but not required.
Willingness to learn electrical theory, wiring methods, and industry best practices.
Ability to use basic hand tools and power tools safely.
Strong work ethic, reliability, and ability to follow instructions.
Physical ability to perform job duties, including lifting, bending, climbing, and standing for extended periods.
As a condition of employment, candidates may be required to pass a pre‑employment drug screening and background check and provide acceptable references.
Additional Qualifying Factors:
As a condition of employment, you will be required to pass a pre‑employment drug screening (post accepted offer) and have acceptable background check results. If applicable to the contract, you must also obtain the appropriate clearance levels required and be able to obtain access to military installations.

This position requires the ability to maneuver around work sites, see, hear, and verbally communicate with co‑workers and clients. Essential and marginal functions may require maintaining physical condition necessary for bending, stooping, sitting, walking or standing for prolonged periods of time; frequent opportunity to move about and to work outside the office environment for extended periods involving exposure to the elements with weather that will include extreme heat, cold, wind, rain or other inclement weather, walking over rough and uneven surfaces, and routine lifting of up to 35 pounds. If required, must properly use personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times including but not limited to: hard hats, steel toe boots, eye protection, respiratory protection, and hearing protection. Must always maintain a constant state of mental alertness.
Working Conditions
Job is performed in a combination of office and outdoor site locations. The office setting includes exposure to computer screens and requires extensive use of a computer, keyboard, and mouse. Outdoor settings include walking, driving, and carrying supplies throughout all seasons with exposure to heat and cold conditions, and potentially wildlife. Is occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals and loud noise.
