Behavior Analyst
Position Overview
Devereux is seeking a compassionate, knowledgeable Behavior Analyst to support children and adolescents with severe emotional and behavioral health needs in Viera, FL. The role involves developing and implementing clients’ master treatment plans, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, reviewing treatment and goal progress, and contributing to assessment and discharge planning to reduce challenging behaviors and teach functional communication.

Position Details
Pay Range: $54 000 – $61 560 per year (BCaBA) or $62 000 – $70 680 per year (BCBA). Salary is based on education and experience.

Schedule: Monday – Friday.

Qualifications
Education

Bachelor’s degree in behavior analysis, mental health, social work, psychology, rehabilitation, special education, or related field (required)

Master’s degree (preferred)

Board Certified Behavior Analyst or BCaBA (required); BCBA preferred

Experience

Minimum 1 year experience in behavioral assessments and program evaluation (required)

Experience working with children and adolescents (preferred)

Other Requirements

Valid Florida driver’s license

Commitment to a two‑week, paid orientation class, approximately 9 a.m. – 5 p.m., Monday‑Friday (near Orlando International Airport)

Pass pre‑employment medical screening, including drug test and TB test

Pass a Level 2 background screening with the State of Florida
