Basic Function
Provide day‑to‑day supervision of Financial, Billing and Enrollment (FBE) Center staff and activities in a comprehensive student service unit that integrates cross‑functional service in registration/enrollment, student records, student accounts, billing, financial aid, scholarships, and student financial wellness counseling for all university constituents.
Duties
Assist the FBE Center leadership team with establishing departmental knowledge base, training goals, objectives, and strategies.
Supervise a cross‑trained team of FBE Counselors, conduct performance evaluations, provide professional development, and supervise student employees.
Originate and provide training to FBE Center Staff, emphasizing a proactive communication style, quality customer service, escalation and counseling skills.
Collaborate with Home Office Partners (Office of Scholarships and Financial Aid, Bursar’s Office, Office of University Registrar) to stay abreast of federal, state, and university policy changes and ensure accurate information.
Interpret and share university, state, and federal policies related to financial aid, bursar, and registrar functions with the FBE Center Staff.
Develop assessment scenarios, learning outcomes, and role‑playing activities that support curriculum and instruction in financial aid, bursar, and registrar content.
Resolve sensitive matters and determine when to make referrals or forward matters to appropriate parties.
Serve as rotating on‑site manager for student escalations or highly complex student situations.
Ensure security and confidentiality of all student record information, complying with FERPA.
Develop and maintain a culture that supports student success and the mission of integrated enrollment services.
Assist with special projects.
Perform related duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree and four years of progressively responsible experience in financial aid, registrar, bursar office, or a related area, including one year of supervisory experience.
License/Certification

Master’s degree in higher education administration or related field and experience in a student services center.
