Annapolis Junction, MD . The
Systems Administrator
will manage, maintain, and optimize enterprise telephony and supporting infrastructure to ensure 24x7x365 availability in a high‑security environment. This role directly supports national security missions by ensuring reliable, high‑quality voice communications for critical operations.
Responsibilities
Manage and support enterprise telephony systems, including hardware, software, peripherals, and call applications such as WFO/WFM, CMS, and call recording platforms
Install, configure, operate, monitor, and maintain enterprise infrastructure including Windows and Linux servers, IIS web servers, VMware environments, and telecom hardware
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to telephony systems, server environments, network connectivity, and integrations with Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and LDAP
Perform system upgrades, migrations, patching, and preventive maintenance to maintain security, compliance, and high availability
Collaborate with cross‑functional and security teams to remediate vulnerabilities, address audit findings, and meet compliance requirements
Required Qualifications
7+ years of experience supporting telephony systems in a systems administrator or engineer role
Experience with Avaya telephony platforms, call recording solutions, workforce optimization/workforce management (WFO/WFM), VMware ESXi and vCenter, Windows Server, and Linux Server environments
Strong networking knowledge (IPv4/IPv6, ports, protocols), certificate management, and Active Directory / Group Policy administration
Ability to support 24x7x365 systems, participate in a rotational on‑call schedule, and work onsite daily
Active Secret security clearance
Compensation
Salary Range:
$85,000-$90,000
depending on experience
