The Role
We are seeking a
Robotics Technician
with 2+ years of electromechanical experience. This isn't just a support role; it is a career-track position with clear progression from Technician to Senior Technician to Deployment Manager. You will work hands-on in a San Francisco development lab, ensuring autonomous robots maintain 100% uptime.
What You Will Be Doing
Live Troubleshooting:
Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and software issues for robots operating in 24/7 cycles.
Maintenance & Repair:
Disassemble, repair, and reassemble complex electromechanical systems using multimeters, oscilloscopes, and diagnostic tools.
Engineering Feedback:
Collaborate directly with the engineering team to improve robot reliability based on your real-world findings.
Systems Diagnostics:
Perform basic electrical analysis and execute Linux command-line diagnostics to identify root causes of system failures.
Field Support (Optional):
Potential opportunities to support field deployments at customer data center sites.
Who You Are
Experienced:
2+ years of professional experience in electromechanical troubleshooting.
Technical:
Comfortable with hand tools, diagnostic electronics, and basic Linux command-line operations.
Resilient:
You enjoy the "detective work" of finding out why a robot stopped mid-cycle and fixing it.
Local:
Able to work on-site full-time in San Francisco.
