We’re searching for a talented and driven Safety Lead to join our team!
Your Day-to-Day
Partner directly onsite with general contractors to ensure safety and policy compliance
Provide technical safety and health support to production and corporate personnel
Conduct safety training for new employees across various locations and conditions
Travel 100% for onsite job site visits involving extensive walking, climbing, and equipment demos
Develop and maintain written safety and health programs and policies
Identify safety training needs and coordinate training programs
Participate in product/process reviews including hazard analysis and operator training
Support implementation of engineering controls to minimize hazards
Assist with selection and training on personal protective equipment (PPE)
Maintain safety records via Quick Base and traditional formats
Participate in safety committees
Review operating procedures and batch records for safety input
Stay current on federal and state safety regulations; advise on compliance changes
Conduct onsite safety audits
Facilitate safety meetings online, audio, and onsite for small and large groups
Monitor lost-time injuries, illnesses, and worker’s compensation claims
Manage post-incident reporting and follow up on investigations and corrective actions
Provide ongoing safety support to field employees
What You’ll Bring to the Table
Bachelor’s degree in Safety Science, Engineering, Industrial Hygiene, or equivalent experience
Minimum 7+ years of commercial electrical experience
Strong knowledge of Federal and State OSHA regulations, NEPA, ANSI
Ability to travel 100% required
OSHA 30 and OSHA 510 certifications required; OSHA 500 preferred
Experience with Construction Aerial, Industrial, and Earth Moving Equipment, including teaching certifications, strongly preferred
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, professional and courteous
Strong prioritization skills with ability to meet deadlines efficiently
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
