Summary

The Maintenance Manager is responsible for leading all maintenance operations within a high-volume food manufacturing facility. The Maintenance Manager oversees preventive and corrective maintenance programs, manages maintenance personnel, and ensures compliance with food safety and regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities

Lead, supervise, and develop maintenance technicians and support staff
Plan, schedule, and oversee preventive and predictive maintenance programs
Ensure rapid response to equipment breakdowns to minimize production downtime
Maintain and improve equipment reliability, performance, and lifespan
Oversee facility systems including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, compressed air, and mechanical systems
Ensure compliance with OSHA, GMP, FDA, and food safety regulations
Manage spare parts inventory and maintenance budgets
Coordinate with outside vendors and contractors for specialized services
Support continuous improvement initiatives to increase operational efficiency
Qualifications

3+ years of maintenance leadership experience in a manufacturing environment (food manufacturing preferred)
Strong knowledge of industrial equipment, electrical systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, and mechanical systems
Experience in food safety environments (GMP, HACCP knowledge preferred)
