Role Description
This is a part-time role (~16 to 24 hours/week) for a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner at Monarch Psychiatric NP PLLC.
As a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner, you will be responsible for providing mental health nursing care, conducting psychiatric evaluations, prescribing medications, and delivering psychotherapy services.
Qualifications
Nurse Practitioners with specialization in mental health
Experience in mental health care and psychiatric care
Strong nursing skills and knowledge
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to provide comprehensive, patient-centered care
Empathy, compassion, and sensitivity to patients' needs
Active and good standing NY State Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner license
Additional certifications in psychiatric nursing or mental health counseling are a plus
NY DEA license
ANCC Board-certified certification
Minimum 2+ years of experience, at least 3600 hours in specialty, preferred
Must live in NY, FL, or PR for W-2 position
