Responsibilities

Lead end-to-end project planning: Define requirements, create implementation plans, and manage delivery across stakeholders
Drive strategic execution: Set clear priorities and align business partners toward common goals
Scale operations effectively: Expand network capabilities while maintaining Amazon''s high bar for customer experience
Manage risk and resolution: Identify potential issues early, drive solutions, and keep initiatives on track
Build strong partnerships: Collaborate across functions to streamline processes and eliminate redundancies
Adapt global best practices for Japan: Work with international teams to implement solutions that meet local market needs

In this dynamic role, you''ll focus on one core mission: delighting customers. Each day brings new challenges as you lead strategic meetings, create high-visibility documents, drive data-based decisions across teams and implement new, revolutionary solutions. Your strong organizational skills will ensure flawless program execution, while your innovative thinking will help solve complex problems. You''ll collaborate with teams across Japan and globally, occasionally traveling to build your network and exchange best practices.
About the team

AMXL JP leads Amazon''s Heavy & Bulky (H&B) logistics network in Japan, partnering with customer-obsessed delivery experts to provide premium services including Room of Choice Delivery, Installation, and Recycling. We deliver safe, reliable, and sustainable solutions that delight our customers.
Our diverse team spans operations, tech, finance, customer experience, and program management. We collaborate across Amazon to scale our operations while maintaining the highest standards for customer satisfaction.
Basic Qualifications

3+ years of program or project management experience
Speak, write, and read fluently in English
3+ years of working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams experience
3+ years of defining and implementing process improvement initiatives using data and metrics experience
Knowledge of Excel (Pivot Tables, VLookUps) at an advanced level and SQL
Preferred Qualifications

3+ years of driving end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership experience
Speak, write, and read fluently in Japanese
3+ years of driving process improvements experience
Experience in stakeholder management, dealing with multiple stakeholders at varied levels of the organization
Experience building processes, project management, and schedules
