TITLE:
Maintenance Manager
POSITION OBJECTIVE:
This position is responsible for managing the plant maintenance and projects in a cost effective and safe manner that will maximize equipment uptime.
Qualifications
8-10 years’ experience working in a manufacturing maintenance environment
3-5 years supervisory experience
Strong background in hydraulic and pneumatic systems, as well as machining experience
Strong background with PLC controls and variable speed drives
Ensure consistent, dependable attendance and demonstrate a willingness to accommodate non-standard work hours as necessary.
Capable of effectively managing job-related stress and fostering productive workplace interactions.
Job Responsibilities
Serves as the direct supervisor of maintenance technicians.
Manages and implements capital projects.
Coordinates maintenance activities with production, QA and Logistics
Conducts engineering evaluations of contractors and vendors in regard to maintenance support
Maintains optimal level of maintenance and electronic parts
Ensures preventive maintenance schedules are met
Ensures mechanical and electrical technicians are properly trained
Other duties as assigned
