Senior/Staff Accountant

What Your Day Will Look Like:
As a Senior/Staff Accountant at Consor, you’ll apply corporate accounting education & experience to ensure accurate financial reporting, regulatory compliance, and strong internal controls. You’ll participate in key accounting areas including general ledger, banking/treasury, tax filings, and process improvement. You will support audits and financial close cycles, and partner with internal teams to help scale a growing business and improve efficiency.

Depending on location, this can be a fully remote position.

What You’ll Do:

Prepare journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial adjustments across corporate accounting functions.

Support banking and treasury requirements, including bank reconciliations, cash positioning, and account management.

Pull information and support vendor partners in the filing of state and local tax returns, including property tax, sales/use tax, and franchise tax, ensuring compliance across multiple jurisdictions.

Assist with corporate income tax provision schedules, estimated payments, and tax‑related reporting needs.

Support internal and external audits by preparing documentation, responding to inquiries, and resolving findings.

Help maintain accounting standards, internal controls, and operational procedures.

What You’ll Need:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting

4–6 years of progressive accounting experience in corporate or project‑based environments, preferably within a professional services firm (e.g., civil engineering or construction).

PA or pursuing CPA preferred

Strong understanding of GAAP, tax fundamentals, and banking processes.
