Job Description
Private lesson teacher for Chelmsford Community Education beginning Fall 2026. Teach private half-hour lessons for piano through the Chelmsford Community Education Program at the rate of $25 per half hour lesson.
Responsibilities
Teach piano skills and music literacy to students ranging from kindergarten to adults.
Differentiate instruction with Community Education staff, parents, and building faculty to coordinate lessons.
Teach individual lessons and group lessons.
Adjust instruction for students of varying ability.
Complete a CORI check.
Qualifications
At least 3 years of relevant experience (preferred). Substantial experience in private music instruction desired.
Bachelor's degree (preferred).
Citizenship, residency, or work visa required.
Salary and Hours
Pay: $25 per 30-minute lesson. Working after school or evening hours. Starting date: July 1, 2026.
