Snapsheet, Chicago, IL, United States

Job Title: Senior Software Engineer – Foundational Services
Company: Snapsheet
Job Location: USA, Remote
Job Type: Full‑time, direct hire

About Snapsheet: Snapsheet is claims technology the way it should be: purposeful, precise, and designed to deliver outcomes. Where others bolt things on, we engineer them into our core systems and processes across cloud‑based claims management, virtual vehicle appraisals, and elite loss and recovery services. Trusted by over 170+ P&C Carriers, MGAs, MGUs, TPAs, and logistics companies, our open architecture is built to fit how our companies work, not the other way around.

Role Overview
Design the systems that users depend on every day. The Claims Management team is the engine behind how insurers process, track, and resolve claims, turning complex workflows, regulatory requirements, and high‑stakes decisions into seamless, reliable software experiences. You’ll build and evolve Snapsheet Cloud, our flagship SaaS platform revolutionizing the insurance industry. Collaborate with a skilled engineering team to ship high‑impact features, design robust APIs, and drive the scalability and performance initiatives that keep claims operations running smoothly. Our goal is to simplify a traditionally complex industry by bringing modern efficiency, intuitive design, and enterprise‑grade reliability to claims organizations.

Craft clarity that drives success. The Comms & Docs team crafts the language, documentation, and user guidance that power our industry‑leading ecosystem, removing friction, clarifying complexity, and helping users succeed at every step. We operate with a collaborative mindset, a commitment to quality, and a drive to innovate in an industry ready for change. Join us if you want to shape content that truly impacts how people work.

In this role, you will architect scalable solutions, mentor emerging talent, and collaborate across departments to solve complex problems for our global partners. We look for “full‑stack thinkers” who thrive in an agile, remote‑first environment and are passionate about building purposeful technology that delivers real‑world results.
