This is a casual position (.01 FTE) working 8 hour day shifts, no weekends. Required to work 1-4 shifts per month.

The Imaging RN supports patients before, during and after procedures & provides expert assistance with IV starts and port access.
Responsibilities
The Registered Nurse is responsible for the assessment, planning, delivery, and evaluation of nursing care for all assigned patient population(s). The RN is responsible for performing these responsibilities in accordance with all policy, procedures, professional practice guidelines and the MN Nurse Practice Act. The RN coordinates care with members of the health care team and delegates responsibilities to others as appropriate.
Assesses patient needs and identifies expected nursing outcomes.
Collaborates with patient, family and other health team members to develop a nursing plan as part of an integrated, comprehensive plan of care
Develops an individualized plan based on age, social and cultural considerations, condition and other relevant needs.
Evaluates care and patient response to interventions and expected outcomes.
Collaborates and communicates effectively and respectfully with the patient, family and members of the health care team within and across care settings to promote partnership-based health care
Demonstrates the ability to advance care by utilizing standards, guidelines, care pathways and continuous improvement to enhance patient outcomes.
Promotes a culture of evidence based practice (EBP)
Required Qualifications
MN Registered Nurse (RN) License
Basic Life Support (American Heart Assoc or Red Cross)
Minimum of two to five years’ experience in critical care nursing (ICU/CCU/ED)
Current certification in ACLS with demonstrated ability in cardiac monitoring and conscious sedation
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelors Degree in Nursing
1 year experience
