About the Position
We are seeking a full‑time Minister/Director of Youth and Children who demonstrates spiritual maturity, strong leadership skills, and a doctrinal stance aligned with Independent Christian churches.
Position Description
As Minister/Director of Children and Youth Ministries you will:
Lead and oversee youth groups (nursery to college age), recruiting and training leadership, serving as a resource, and developing programs to meet the evolving needs of our youth.
Provide instruction for Sunday school and participate actively in all scheduled worship services.
Offer leadership for nursery, toddler, preschool, and grade‑school services.
Coordinate and actively participate in the senior high youth group.
Call evangelistically and pastorally on the youth on a regular basis.
Be available for youth counseling as needed.
Attend staff meetings and perform administrative duties coordinating with other ministerial staff.
Submit youth news for the monthly newsletter and bulletin, and use social media to communicate with youth and the congregation.
