Who We Are:
Substance Use Disorder (SUD) Services staff at The Elliot assesses, treats, and supports individuals with SUD who are in or seeking recovery. The Greater Manchester Doorway provides a complete assessment, coordinated referral to treatment and supportive services for anyone living with a substance use disorder. Our main goal is to help people struggling with recovery get the help they need.
About the Job:
Practices under the supervision of an RN, APRN, or licensed physician. Assists providers in the administration of patient care in assigned clinical areas. Assists with patient examinations, procedures, diagnostic studies, treatment, and dressing changes. Performs general administrative duties in accordance with company policies and procedures.
What You’ll Do:
Provides direct nursing care to patients receiving medication-assisted treatment (MAT) and other SUD services in alignment with New Hampshire LPN practice standards
Performs visit chart preparation activities based on the daily scheduled appointments, including diagnostic test results, emergency/urgent care reports, discharge summaries, and consult/PCP reports that are located in the medical record and accessible to the provider
Performs rooming activities for provider visits according to the documented rooming criteria, including chief complaint, allergies, vital signs, medication list review, tobacco history, LMP, health maintenance overrides, and documentation in a timely and accurate manner
Assists providers with patient examinations and procedures
Obtains and documents age and/or condition-specific measurements accurately, including vital signs, height, weight, head circumference, peak flow, and pulse oximetry
Performs and documents specific screening based on condition

Who You Are:
Graduate of an accredited school of Licensed Practical Nursing, Required
Current unencumbered licensed practical nurse in New Hampshire, Required
Ability to obtain BLS qualification during the orientation period and maintain it during employment, Required
