About the Role:
The Assistant Manager, Marketing Strategy & Execution supports the execution of national marketing programs and menu initiatives by coordinating cross‑functional workstreams and ensuring initiatives are delivered accurately and on time. This role plays a critical support function across Marketing, Culinary, Operations, Technology, and Communications to help translate strategy into effective, executable programs at the restaurant and franchise level.
Responsibilities include but not limited to:
Marketing Window Execution Support:
Assist in the day‑to‑day execution of national marketing windows by maintaining timelines, tracking key milestones, and updating status reports to keep teams informed and on track. Help coordinate deliverables across Marketing, Culinary, Operations, Digital, Technology, and Creative partners , flagging risks or delays to the appropriate lead as needed. Support the use of executional templates, trackers, and best practices to keep programs organized and consistent. Partner with Operations teams to help surface operational considerations early in the planning process. Assist with post‑launch reviews by compiling results and organizing learnings to support continuous improvement.
Value & Offer Execution:
Support the execution of value initiatives and promotional offers by coordinating and completing offer setup with Technology partners, conducting verification to ensure offers are configured correctly prior to launch, and ensuring offer testing is completed on schedule by coordinating with Digital and Technology teams and holding the right parties accountable. Maintain coupon versioning logs and offer tracking documents, and flag discrepancies or issues to the appropriate team members. Assist in maintaining the offer calendar and organizing performance data and learnings to support the team’s value strategy.
Cross‑Functional Coordination & Documentation:
Help gather requirements, document execution needs, and coordinate inputs across cross‑functional teams including Marketing, Operations, Digital, Technology, Culinary, and Creative. Assist with meeting preparation, note taking, and follow‑up actions to support alignment and accountability across workstreams. Maintain organized project documentation — including status updates, decision logs, and next steps — to help the broader team stay aligned and informed.
Communications & Field Enablement Support:
Assist in the development and distribution of internal and franchisee‑facing communications, including execution guides, timelines, FAQs, and toolkits. Partner with Communications and Field teams to ensure materials are accurate, clearly written, and delivered on schedule. Help translate execution plans into straightforward, easy‑to‑follow resources for field and franchise audiences.
Qualifications (some examples listed below):
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field required
2–4 years of experience in marketing, project coordination, operations support, or a related role
Experience in QSR, retail, or multi‑unit consumer environments preferred
Strong organizational and project coordination skills
Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast‑paced environment
Strong written and verbal communication skills
High attention to detail and follow‑through
Ability to work collaboratively across cross‑functional teams
