Job Summary
This position is responsible for delivering quality instruction using integrative technologies.

Job Duties

Teach courses on the ground as assigned, including evening, off‑campus, and distance‑based courses as required.

Post grades during the term for student feedback and submit final grades for each semester by the deadline established by the Registrar.

Complete required college training and reports such as attendance, Early Alerts, progress reports, grade submissions, and administer and return surveys by the required deadlines; advise the Program Chair or Dean promptly if unable to teach a class; attend meetings as requested; comply with all the College’s and TBR’s policies and guidelines; other duties as assigned.

Check JSCC email and departmental mailbox regularly; respond to emails/messages within 48 hours except on weekends.

Submit or update the class syllabus at least two weeks prior to the first day of class or within seven days of contract execution.

Minimum Qualifications
A certification in Medical Coding.

Preferred Qualifications
An associate’s degree or higher in a related field; collegiate‑level teaching experience.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Knowledge and/or experience using a variety of instructional delivery modes; ability to communicate effectively and work cooperatively with a diverse faculty, staff, and student population; proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

Pay Rate
$600 per credit hour
