Prime Healthcare is seeking a highly motivated Orthopedic Physician Assistant (PA-C) to join our expanding musculoskeletal and surgical services team in Central Maine. Position Highlights
Full-time employed position with competitive compensation
Mix of clinic, surgical first assist, inpatient rounding, and follow‑up care
Work with sports medicine, total joints, trauma, and general orthopedics
State‑of‑the‑art surgical and imaging facilities

Responsibilities
Evaluate, diagnose, and treat orthopedic patients in outpatient and inpatient settings
Assist in orthopedic surgeries including joint replacement, fracture care, and sports procedures
Perform pre‑op and post‑op assessments
Order/interpret imaging and labs
Provide patient education, treatment planning, and follow‑up care
Collaborate closely with surgeons, therapists, nursing, and ancillary teams
Qualifications
Graduate of accredited Physician Assistant program
Certified by NCCPA
Active or eligible for Maine PA license
Orthopedic or surgical experience preferred
New graduates with strong orthopedic rotations considered
Strong communication and team‑based care mindset
