
Dispensing Pharmacist - Long Term Care - Full Time

Position Summary
Pharmacist role at Omnicare, located in a closed‑door long‑term care facility (non‑customer‑facing). Provide routine and emergency comprehensive and accurate drug screening, information, processing, and dispensing services for various drug distribution systems to the centers.
You will
Ensure accurate entry of orders.
Maintain security of the pharmacy.
Adhere to required delivery schedules.
Verify orders entered by technician staff for accuracy.
Check for completeness and precision of all new and refill labels and orders.
Check for content and accuracy of all drug packaging and labeling.
Prepare and/or supervise sterile IV drug products or solutions, if required.
Assist in maintaining a perpetual inventory for schedule II drugs.
Apply knowledge of DEA and state law regarding controlled drug dispensing.
Provide evening, weekend, and holiday coverage during scheduled rotation based on business needs.
Follow all applicable state and government regulations including HIPAA.
Perform other duties as assigned (vary by location).
Required Qualifications
Must be a licensed pharmacist in the state of Indiana, active and in good standing.
Education
BS in Pharmacy or PharmD.

Pay Range
The typical pay range for this role is: $50.48 - $84.62. The actual base salary offer will depend on experience, education, geography and other factors.

Shift Details
This 24/7 pharmacy requires a full‑time schedule of 5 days per week, 8½ hours each, with a half‑hour break. Monday‑Friday shifts run between 12 pm and 2 am. The ideal candidate will work a regular late evening shift and be flexible to work until 2 am on occasions. Weekend and holiday rotation is based on business needs. No on‑call requirement.
