Caregivers at Emsa Home Care LLC provide essential support to clients by assisting with daily living activities, offering companionship, and ensuring their overall well‑being. This role focuses on delivering compassionate care while maintaining clear communication with families and care teams.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Assist clients with daily living activities, including bathing, grooming, dressing, and meal preparation.
Provide companionship and emotional support to clients. Assist with light housekeeping and laundry tasks.
Monitor and document clients’ health conditions and report changes to the supervisor.
Accompany clients to medical appointments, errands, or recreational activities as needed.
Administer medications under supervision and ensure timely reminders for clients.
Follow care plans and maintain clear communication with family members and the care team.
QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS
High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
1-3 years of experience in caregiving or home care services.
Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification (preferred but not required).
CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain). Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license.
Ability to handle physical tasks, including lifting and transferring clients.
