Ground Test Inspector (Avionics)

****Airbus US**** Manufacturing Facility A320 is looking for a Ground Test Inspector to join our Manufacturing Department based in ****Mobile, AL.********Financial Rewards:**** Competitive base salary, incentive compensation which may include profit sharing schemes, retirement savings plan and the ability to participate in an Employee Stock Ownership Plan (“ESOP”).* Required:* High School Diploma/ GED* The ability to successfully complete the following trainings provided by Airbus after recruitment:* Health & Safety* General aircraft familiarization* Quality Training* Required:* 5 years aviation experience in avionics, systems, or Cabin systems.* 2 years minimum experience as an Aircraft Avionics Technician with a focus on aircraft systems (electrical preferred).* 2 years minimum of experience in trouble shooting on aircraft systems.* Knowledge of station safety, quality (clean as you go / Foreign Object Debris) and OSHA regulations.* Keep tools and support equipment in safe operational conditions at all times.* Basic avionic troubleshooting knowledge.* Experience with tools used to identify and isolate electrical and data failures.* Effective verbal and written communication skills.* Able to enter, generate and retrieve information using a computer.* Travel Required: 5% Domestic and International.* Authorized to Work in the US.* Preferred:* A320 or Airbus aircraft experience.* Avionics or Cabin system experience in a Production or Maintenance environment.* Basic avionic troubleshooting knowledge.* Experience with tools used to identify and isolate electrical and data failures.
